AUTOSAR
AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System Architecture) is established as a fundamental software architecture in automotive industries. Standardisation of exchangeable software modules - the goal of AUTOSAR - requires conformance testing, to ensure that modules comply with the rules.
C&S group is development member within the AUTOSAR consortium and working in one of AUTOSAR's work packages. There C&S actively participates in the definition of the methodology and process of conformance test specifications for AUTOSAR. Test cases are specified in a generic way, but do not address complex and hardware-specific requirements (e.g. real time behaviour). To cover these areas, test cases have to be extended and test implementation must allow for testing of any additionally elected requirement.
Many years of experience in automotive conformance testing are accumulated at the C&S group. Based on this experience, C&S group is implementing software function tests and interface tests for hardware and software modules and for the external communication of ECUs or subsystems. These implemented tests consider correct functional behaviour of e.g. one software module as well as interactions between several modules and their target platform.
After release of the specification by the AUTOSAR consortium, the C&S group will offer testing as a service - as a test laboratory, according to ISO 17025. Furthermore C&S group offers you AUTOSAR tools helping to ensure your product quality and coaches you with respect to your individual AUTOSAR tasks.
