Accredited test house according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025
ISO/IEC 17025 is an international standard for test and calibration laboratories - proofing the competence of laboratories to carry out tests and the quality of the test results by ensuring
- independent, well structured organization of the test house
- methods and means of the test process are implemented
- equipment and tools are calibrated and surveyed
- test engineers are high skilled professionals with long experience in testing
All these requirements are defined precisely in the 69 pages of the standard. C&S group has established and enhanced the required quality management system during its history. Test experience has been gained by many conformance tests in the past. The technological skills are continuously evolving by the C&S's work in standardization and development & research projects.
The DGA Deutsche Gesellschaft für Akkreditierung mbH is an official accreditation office and specialist for IT test laboratories. Together with technical specialists the laboratory and the work of the C&S group has been examined. The result is the accreditation - as shown below.
For the C&S group this also proofs, that its successful work in the past has also been on the right way, as no fundamental changes had to be implemented for the accreditation.
For our customers the accreditation enhances the value of the conformance test - they can by be sure that the results are accepted by the OEMs. More and more OEMs require the accreditation of test labs - ISO9001 is no longer sufficient for the high quality demands of the future, ISO 9001 'only' certifies QM System, i.e. only consistent business processes are applied. It does not guarantee the compliance or the quality of end products and services. Where as DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005[1] adds the focus on technical competence of a test laboratory. Specially in safety relevant environments - like avionics - these requirements are well known.
[1] By complying with this International Standard, the test laboratory will operate a quality management system for its testing activities that also meets the principles of ISO 9001. The DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 covers technical competence requirements that are not covered by ISO 9001.
