The focus of the JV company is on providing support for the qualification of Automotive Ethernet components in the Chinese market. Our goal is to meet the growing demand in this area with local support.
Due to the large number of users and the associated attractive costs, Ethernet has established itself within a very short time as a networking technology in the vehicle. The Ethernet layer structure has always offered the scalability and future viability of a multi-functional communication system. Automotive Ethernet is currently used for applications such as cameras for driver assistance systems and infortainment and will play a key role in future applications such as autonomous driving. In order to be able to continue to exploit the full potential of Ethernet in the future, active influence must be exerted on the further development of the technology.
The company name of the new joint venture based in Changzhou/China is CATARC AERI C&S Intelligence Technology Co. LTD. We are proud that our Chinese partners have attached importance to adopting our company abbreviation in the new name. This is a sign of the appreciation and great reputation that the C&S group enjoys in the Far East.
